Ramagundam Dam


The Ramagundam dam is located in Karimnagar, Andhra Pradesh.

The approved capacity of Ramagundam Dam is 2600 MW. The sources of coal are South Godavari Coal Fields of Singrani Collieries and Korba Coal Fields of SECL.

The water sources of this dam are Sri Ram Sagar Dam on Godavari River and Canal from Pochampad Reservoir.

The beneficiary states of the Ramagundam dam are Pondicherry, Goa, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
